After almost a decade of working in high-pressure environments, Mel experienced and witnessed high-stress levels, exhaustion, and eventually burnout. This is when she came to the conclusion that looking after our own/our employees’ mental and physical health at work was the key to high performance and a thriving organisation.
Mel is trained in mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT). She is also a Mental Health First Aid Trainer and has completed the ASIST suicide prevention training. She has been working with businesses and individuals for 9 years to help improve health and wellbeing in the workplace.
